L’area di interesse risulta essere relativa alle seguenti aree in Villa D’Ogna (BG)
1. via Duca d’Aosta;
2. piazzetta di via G. Festi;
3. via G. Festi;
4. via Principe Umberto.

Via Duca d’Aosta

L’area individuata da via Duca d’Aosta si estende dall’incrocio con via C. Rasini fino al parcheggio a servizio del campo sportivo (non incluso); questa zona necessita di opere di manutenzione e messa in sicurezza del tratto viario e dei marciapiedi.
Il forte stato di degrado della pavimentazione dei marciapiedi, unito alle dimensioni delle alberature presenti che in alcuni casi invadono sia marciapiede che carreggiata, obbliga i pedoni a percorre la via Duca d’Aosta passando direttamente sulla strada, con gli evidenti problemi di sicurezza che ne derivano.
La disposizione delle aiuole spartitraffico presenta un disegno datato e non più coerente con il traffico odierno; alcune cordonature e aiuole vengono infatti calpestate dai mezzi pesanti e risultano essere danneggiate e sono causa di problemi ai mezzi stessi.
Si sono previste quindi le seguenti lavorazioni:

• posa in opera di paletti dissuasori metallici a protezione dei percorsi pedonali che vanno dall’incrocio con via C. Rasini a quello con via Principe Umberto e conseguente allargamento dei percorsi pedonali stessi per adeguarli alle normative vigenti in materia di abbattimento delle barriere architettoniche;
• rimozione delle cordonature esistenti e loro sostituzione con nuove in granito ed in conglomerato cementizio vibrocompresso come meglio evidenziato negli elaborati grafici allegati alla presente;
• taglio delle piante di grosso fusto, che in alcuni tratti invadono il marciapiede limitrofo e la carreggiate stradale, e ripiantumazione di essenze del tipo già presenti sul lato est della strada;
• ridisegno di alcune aiuole nei tratti in cui risultano di intralcio al transito dei mezzi pesanti;
• pavimentazione di alcuni tratti di marciapiede con cubetti di pietra con disegno simile a quello già presenti lungo la stessa via;
• rimozione dei dossi artificiali presenti di dimensioni non coerenti con la normativa vigente e loro rifacimento nelle zone indicate sugli elaborati grafici, avendo cura di eseguire le asfaltature limitrofe con pendenze adeguate al fine di evitare accumuli di acque;
• asfaltatura di strade e marciapiedi e ripristino della segnaletica orizzontale.

Messa in sicurezza e riqualificazione dell’intera area creando una zona di aggregazione che possa essere maggiormente sfruttata dai residenti.
Si è proceduto quindi al riordino delle aiuole presenti, di disegno datato e non più coerente con il traffico odierno, tramite l’ampliamento del raggio di curvatura dell’aiuola ad est che immette su via G. Festi evitando che questa sia di intralcio ai mezzi in transito.
Sono state posate cordonature in granito del tipo simile a quelle presenti su via Duca d’Aosta e si procederà alla pavimentazione in cubetti di pietra per l’intera superficie della nuova piazzetta; saranno posati inoltre arredi urbani quali panchine, dissuasori di traffico e una fontanella collegata all’acquedotto comunale.

Via G. Festi

In quest’area si è proceduto alla rimozione delle cordonature in calcestruzzo che presentano forti stati di degrado, e alla posa di nuove sempre in conglomerato cementizio vibrocompresso.
Saranno rimosse le strutture metalliche poste a protezione della pista ciclopedonale e del parco giochi, procedendo alla posa di una nuova barriera metallica del tipo indicato sugli elaborati grafici.
Si è prevista inoltre un’asfaltatura dell’intero tratto stradale e una messa in sicurezza dei precorsi pedonali posti ai lati delle carreggiate, tramite ripristino della segnaletica orizzontale.

Via Principe Umberto

Si è prevista una riqualificazione globale della parte ovest della via, con l’abbattimento di alcune piante esistenti e loro ripiantumazione all’interno delle aiuole presenti.
Si è proceduto alla realizzazione di marciapiedi tramite la posa di cordonature in conglomerato cementizio vibrocompresso e pavimentazioni in asfalto e realizzazione di percorso pedonale opportunamente segnalato. Spostamento dei pali di illuminazione presenti, posa di masselli per pavimentazioni drenanti sui parcheggi presenti e messa in opera di nuovi arredi urbani.
Sul tratto est della via si è proceduto alla posa di cordonature in conglomerato cementizio vibrocompresso e alla riasfaltatura completa dell’intera strada.

Via Duca d’Aosta

The area identified by Via Duca d’Aosta extends from the junction with Via C. Rasini to the car park serving the sports field (not included); this area requires maintenance and safety works on the road and pavements.
The serious deterioration of the pavement of the pavements, together with the size of the trees present, which in some cases invade both the pavement and the carriageway, forces pedestrians to walk along Via Duca d’Aosta passing directly on the road, with the obvious safety problems that this entails.
The layout of the traffic islands has an outdated design that is no longer consistent with today’s traffic; some of the kerbs and flower beds are in fact trampled by heavy vehicles and are damaged, causing problems for the vehicles themselves.
The following work was therefore planned

installation of metal bollards to protect the pedestrian paths that run from the intersection with Via C. Rasini to that with Via Principe Umberto, and the consequent widening of the pedestrian paths themselves in order to adapt them to the regulations in force regarding the removal of architectural barriers;
removal of the existing kerbs and their replacement with new ones in granite and vibrocompressed concrete, as illustrated in greater detail in the graphs attached hereto
cutting back the large trunks of trees, which in some places are encroaching on the adjacent pavement and roadway, and replanting the type of trees already present on the east side of the road
Redesigning some flowerbeds in sections where they are in the way of heavy vehicles;
paving of some sections of the pavement with stone cubes with a similar design to those already present along the same street;
removal of the artificial speed bumps present of dimensions inconsistent with the regulations in force and their resurfacing in the areas indicated on the graphic designs, taking care to carry out the adjacent asphalting with adequate slopes in order to avoid accumulations of water;
Asphalting of roads and pavements and restoration of road markings.

Securing and redevelopment of the entire area, creating an area of aggregation that can be better used by residents.
The present flowerbeds, whose design is outdated and no longer consistent with today’s traffic, were rearranged by widening the radius of curvature of the flowerbed to the east that leads onto Via G. Festi, thus preventing it from being in the way of passing vehicles.
Granite kerbs similar to those on Via Duca d’Aosta have been laid and stone cubes will be paved over the entire surface of the new square; street furniture such as benches, traffic bollards and a drinking fountain connected to the municipal water supply system will also be installed.

In this area, the concrete kerbs, which are in a serious state of decay, have been removed, and new ones in vibrocompressed concrete have been laid.
The metal structures protecting the pedestrian and bicycle path and the playground will be removed, and a new metal barrier of the type indicated in the graphic plans will be installed.
In addition, the entire road section will be asphalted and the pedestrian walkways on the sides of the carriageways will be made safe by restoring the horizontal signage.

Via Principe Umberto

A global redevelopment of the western part of the street was planned, with the felling of some existing plants and their replanting within the existing flowerbeds.
Pavements were created by laying vibrocompressed concrete kerbs and asphalt paving, and a suitably marked pedestrian path was created. The present lighting poles were moved, draining paving stones were laid on the present car parks, and new street furniture was installed.
On the eastern section of the street, vibrocompressed concrete kerbs were laid and the entire street was completely resurfaced.
